Notice for AGM April 2011

敬爱的会员们，

谨此通知，森美兰摄影协会将于四月十七日（星期日），下午两点正，在本会会所（22, 2nd fl Jln DM2 Milenia Business Centre, off Jln Tan Sri Manikavasagam(Lobak) 70200 Seremban.）主办2011年度常年会员大会。

2. 随此函件附上常年会务报告，2010年度财政报告，常年会员大会前期会议记录及提名表格。会员们受促于在常年会员大会前三天，向秘书处提呈任何书面提案。提名表格则需在常年会员大会前呈交。

3. 大会将于当天（四月十七日），从早上八时正至早上十一时三十分，在亚沙金马扬1388俱乐部举办一场泳装模特儿摄影比赛。

报名费： 会员每人 RM40.00 （包含午餐）
非会员每人 RM50.00 （包含午餐）

敬请从速向大会报名。

4. 本会会员受促每人提交5张以JPEG格式相片于本会，以便在四月十七日当天供所有来宾观赏。被选中的相片将会刊在本会将出版之特刊内。会员必须在四月十日前把储存该相片之光碟交到以下地点：Lot f1 -27, Carrefour sopping centre, Forest height, Rahang,70450 Seremban. 如有疑问，可拨电询问：0123821966 ( wong) , 0162840119 (eng), 0126080496 (wong wai ming)。

Dear Members ,

The Annual General Meeting of The Photographic Society Of Negeri Sembilan will be held on Sunday ,17th April 2011,2 pm at The Club House, 22, 2nd fl Jln DM2 Milenia Business Centre, off Jln Tan Sri Manikavasagam(Lobak) 70200 Seremban.

2. Enclosed please find the annual report, accounts for 2010 , minutes of the previous AGM and nomination paper . Member are requested to submit any resolution in writing to the Hon. Secretary at least 3 days before AGM. You may submit the nomination paper before the AGM.

3. We will organize a model ( in swim suits) photo shooting and contest on 17th April 2011 from 8am till 11.30 pm at 1388 Rasah Kemayan Resort, Seremban.
Fee : Members Rm40 pax( inclusive of lunch)
Non –members Rm50 pax ( inclusive of lunch)
Please register early.

4. Members are requested to submit 5 photo in jpeg format to the society for viewing on 17th April 2011. Selected photo will be printed in a magazine to be produced by the society. 07, September 2009 – Negeri Sembilan Int’l Salon of Photography Exhibition

The Photographic Society of Negeri Sembilan cordially invite you to the 1st. Negeri Sembilan Int’l Salon of Photography Exhibition. Which will be held in Seremban, Malaysia.

More than 150 best of the best photos from salon will be exhibited. If you missed the exciting judging session, now is your chance to see the images yourself during the exhibition.

A series of exciting programs are line up in conjunction with the exhibition, there will be two photography talks conducted by two of the most distinguish speakers from Singapore and Malaysia.

Come September, in conjunction with 1st. PSNS Int’l salon, PSNS will be organizing a seminar comprises of some of the best speakers from round the region. Photographers from four countries namely Xie Mo from China, Zhang Mei Yan and Tay Puay Kuan from Singapore and our very own Harry Woo, Eric Cheong, Foo Kok Khin, Song Jeng Tek and Jonathan Tai. Other than the seminars, there also will be an photography exhibition, art lovers and shutterbugs will have the chance for the first time in Seremban to witness some of the most exquisite photos from these four countries.

The event will be held at the prestigious Open University of Malaysia Seremban Branch. Stay tune for more updates on these series of events.

18, September 2008 – “Enchantment Snapshot”

A’Famosa, famous of its theme park and exquisite resort is organizing a photography competition titled: “Enchantment Snapshot”. PSNS has the honour of becoming the co-organizer for the contest. Total prizes up to RM10,000.00 could be won!

On top of that, participants will also be offered a special package staying in this exciting resort!

26, August 2008 – Model shooting contest

PSNS with the assistance of Sin Chew Jit Poh and IJM will organize a model shooting contest at S2 City Park, Seremban. Total prizes up to RM3300/= is up for grabs.

Come, hook on your favorite lenses and take part in one of the merriest competitions in Seremban. Here is the detail:

Do you always feel something is not quite right with your photos? Or do you think your photos need some polishing up in postproduction but don’t really get the hang of it? Still struggling with layers in Photoshop? Come August, The Photographic Society of Negeri Sembilan will organize a two-day workshop on Photoshop to better your photos.

The workshop will be conducted by the seasoned tutor and photographer Mr. Steve Chong. He is also the contributing editor for Photo Creator and Advanced Images. With his exquisite skill in Photoshop, Mr. Steve Chong has created images that had helped him won many awards in the international salons, namely PSA and FIAP.

Come and let Steve Chong helps you with the digital workflow from the moment of pressing the shutter until the final printing.

Course fee: RM280/=
(Inclusive of 2d 1n stay in Tiara Beach Resort, breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments will be provided. Participants are requested to bring along their notebook or personal computer and of course the camera.)
